Niflor

Surface Technology offers a variety of coatings that provide customers with a finish that offers both corrosion protection and lubricity. For example, Niflor, a composite coating of PTFE and Electroless Nickel, is a process for metals that results in an accurate, low-friction surface that is extremely hard and resistant to wear.

PTFE/Electroless Nickel composites have many applications, including valves, carburetor components, pump rotors, mold cores, and in certain precision applications standard nuts and bolts.
